In the last few years several alumni have strengthened their bond with ISB by generously donating to the School through different avenues.  We value these endowments immensely and considering that we are still a young school, our alumni have done us proud through their generosity.

Alumni Endowment Fund – Started in 2010 by ISB and seeded by the Class of 2004, the Alumni Endowment Fund at the ISB, is an outstanding initiative since it provides a steady and sustainable source of funds to the School.  The initial support to the fund also came from the Class of 2010. The Board has agreed to match every contribution to the fund with an equal contribution. However, this is limited until the fund reaches a corpus of Rs 1 Crore  (matched with another Rs 1 Crore by the Board). The following classes have so far contributed to the endowment

  • Co 2004
  • Co 2010
  • Co 2011

Class Gift – There is a tradition of graduating classes giving a collective gift to the School before embarking on their lives post ISB. This is called the “Class Gift. Each year the current class, identifies a priority area along with the School and collectively raise funds towards the same. Some of the Class Gifts from previous classes are

  • Class of 2008 – This Class has given to build a ‘Co2008 Student Lounge’ at our student village 3.
  • Class of 2009 - This Class has contributed towards building of a ‘Co2009 Amphitheatre’ at our student village 1

Class of 2011 Scholarship - The Class of 2011 has instituted a namesake scholarship. Around 40 alumni of the Class of 2011 each pledged from Rs 5,000 - Rs 18,000 towards this scholarship. While some alumni have committed to contributing for at least five years others have committed to contributing for life.

The scholarship would be given to a deserving candidate on a need and merit-based criteria. Only candidates whose total family incomes were less than Rs 10 lakhs were eligible for the award, and criteria included academic performance and financial need. Click here for more details.
